Frequently asked questions

How do I find documents by their file extension?

If restricting the filter by type is not enough – for example, because this group contains too many different file types – you can simply narrow down the query further in the search bar.

alle.fileendung:docx

You can also use this function to exclude certain file types. Several arguments can be used here as well.

alle.fileendung:(-doc -docx)

The extension is entered without a dot. You can do the same via the file name with a wildcard: alle.dateiname:*.docx.

What can I do if no results are displayed?

Have you checked the filters? Are there perhaps still filters set that exclude the results you expect? If you cannot see the filters, they may be collapsed. In the top right corner there is a double arrow that opens the filters again.
